About Us

Tyndale Baptist Church are a fellowship of people of all ages and backgrounds that have trusted in Jesus and now have a friendship with God through Him.

We meet weekly at Tyndale Chapel on the Old Sodbury Common, near Chipping Sodbury, for our Sunday morning worship and evening services.

We’re not ashamed of the biblical gospel of Jesus Christ, and believe the good news of Jesus is a message everyone needs to hear. We occasionally run courses explaining the Christian message - you’re more than welcome to contact us if you’d be interested in finding out more for yourself. Want to find out more about Jesus? Take a look at the Christianity Explored website.

We believe that God speaks to us today through the Bible. We seek to be a loving community to reflect our loving God and are always looking for ways we can show God’s love to those living around us. We’re affiliated to the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches (FIEC) and uphold their basis of faith.

All members of the church use their gifts to build up the church and prayerfully gather together to make big decisions in the church life. A leadership team of Pastor John Sutcliffe and Deacons (Hugh, Colin and Jane) help to lead the church in following Jesus.
